Our Commitment
NPO Centric, a program of the Regional Access Project Foundation, strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that website accessibility efforts assist all users, and that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
We serve nonprofit organizations across Riverside County, including many that support people with disabilities. Making our own website usable by everyone is part of how we practice what we ask of our members.
Conformance Status
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and combinations of these.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and correct those areas.
Measures We Take
To help make this website accessible, we:
- Include accessibility as a requirement when we build and update the website
- Use semantic page structure and headings so the site can be navigated with assistive technology
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Aim for sufficient color contrast between text and its background
- Support keyboard navigation, including visible focus indicators on links and buttons
- Review accessibility as part of our ongoing website maintenance
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on this website may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are working on include:
- Third-party content and embedded services. Some pages include content from outside providers, such as our member portal, event registration, and embedded maps. We do not control the accessibility of these services.
- Documents and older content. Some PDFs and materials published previously may not meet current accessibility standards.
- Uploaded images. Some images may lack complete text alternatives while we work through our media library.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us. Reports from the people who use this site are the most reliable way we learn what needs fixing.
Feedback and Assistance
If you are experiencing difficulty with any content on npocentric.org, require assistance with any part of our site, or wish to report an accessibility issue, please contact us during normal business hours and we will be happy to help. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
If any information, program, or service on this site is not accessible to you, we will provide it to you in an alternative format on request.
